Yoga

“Yoga is a journey of the self through the self to the self.”  Bhagavad Gita

A yoga class can feel like a full transformational experience.

The practice of yoga

brings balance to the body, mind and breath,

promoting harmony and wholeness.

Through meditative movement and stillness,

we refine our attention

on the sensation of breath moving through the body

and become more self aware, centred and relaxed.

Practising physical poses and transitions

with steadiness and ease

results in improved energy,

a calmer state of being

and a sense of freedom.

Yoga helps to deepen our awareness

and harmonises the connection between body, breath and mind.

The main physiological benefits are

enhancing blood circulation,

which is essential for wellbeing,

and resetting the nervous system to rest and restore mode

so we become calm and relaxed.

Yoga’s healing qualities

enable us to address and support physical limitations,

tension, pain, disease, mental agitation, stress, emotional turmoil

and offers us a lifelong friend on the path of wellness.

Vasudha is an extraordinary teacher, offering a deeply peaceful experience, technical support and sensitivity for each learner at their individual stage. Catering for all levels, Vasudha teaches with warmth, gentle guidance and a disciplined, mindful approach. She utilises restorative yoga, chanting, visualisation and movement to create a powerful integrative healing practice. I am deeply grateful for her generosity, professionalism, com/passion and expertise which enriches my daily life.

It is an honour, a privilege and a delight to share yoga.

Within a warm, inclusive approach,

options and modifications are offered

to cater for different levels and abilities,

making classes accessible and exploratory.

As a student, you are encouraged to make your own choices

and be your own teacher.

By listening carefully to what our bodies are telling us,

we develop our intuition and enjoy a safe, effective practice.

We become more finely attuned to what we need in the moment,

both on the mat and in life.

I have loved all of Vasudha’s yoga classes that I’ve attended. Whether she is singing to us as we rest in savasana, or guiding us through an active dragon flow for lunar new year, Vasudha brings so much care and healing to her classes, leaving me feeling nourished mind, body and soul.
